Is God Really Free?
If WE are the living expression of God on earth, then how free is God to be God. Or another way of looking at it is: Is there a cost to us for God being in us? Just what does FREE mean anyway? Maybe there will even be fireworks!

Peter, The Rock!
How well do we know Peter, the apostle, one of the larger than life characters in the Bible? We know he swung a sword at a guard's ear; he denied Jesus three times and wept bitter tears afterwards; and he thought he could walk on water. Who is this complex person and what does he mean for us today? There is nothing like the author's own words to give us insights into himself. Did you know he was a writer? Two letters from Peter give us the clues to this man of virtue, and why he remains significant for us today.

River of Dreans!
This week’s talk is entitled “River of Dreams” which is the title song of Dana Agnellini’s new CD. He will teach us a fool proof 9-step process for manifesting our dreams. It was born from a combination of Dana’s 25+ years as a leader in corporate America combined with his lifetime study of spirituality, and his deeply intuitive skills as a songwriter and performer. You’ve undoubtedly heard the quote, “If you can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it”. Dana’s talk will teach the specifics of making this quote a reality in our lives.
August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL FOR ADULTS -
LIKE NEVER BEFORE SO COME ON, JOIN US!
Last year's adult vacation Bible school was so much fun in our camp clothes, with joyful music, and surprises. No need for a sack lunch; there are refreshments in fellowship hall after the service. This year we will make some agreements though, five of them in fact. We will agree in our lessons, and then take them into the outside world and see how they make our lives and the lives of those around us different. It's not hard, it will be fun.
Drumming Circle
Kate McCutchan will be holding a drumming circle in the church sanctuary on the last Sunday of each month.
We will meet at 12:00 and drum for an hour in the sanctuary. Bring your drums and noise-makers and join us for a love-offering circle of rhythm and joy.
Drumming is known to have therapeutic effects; more than that, it's just plain FUN!
If you don't have a drum, call Kate at 732-4814, as she does have several extra.
Next date August 29.
Bookstore News:
“Look for weekly specials during the summer months.”
